Today we’re going to talk about what happens if your blood sugars are high in the mornings. Let’s say you’re doing keto and intermittent fasting, but you’re blood sugars are higher in the morning. Why is that? Well, if your carbs are less than 10g per day, you may need to lower your carbs. But, if you’re hardly consuming any carbs, this could be because your insulin resistance is so severe your insulin can’t handle even a small amount of carbs. The insulin could be dysfunctional because the cells that make insulin are not fully there. You don’t have enough beta cells in the pancreas to produce the insulin necessary to keep the blood sugars in check. There are four things you could do. All of these things target and support the beta cells of the pancreas. What you could do: 1. Berberine 2. Beef pancreas (Ancestral) 3. Milk thistle 4.
