Decoding Glp1 Beyond Weight Loss Benefits
✨ Open This ✨ When push comes to shove fat loss isn’t necessarily complicated. But that doesn’t mean it is easy. However, it is easier if you structure your goals around these key things. ✅ Create a moderate calorie deficit. It doesn't matter how “healthy” your diet is, it comes down to numbers and science if you want to lose fat you have to be in a calorie deficit. And you cant out-workout a bad diet. A generic way to quickly figure out a rough estimate to what your calorie intake should be to lose fat would be to multiply your weight by 12. Then aim for that 80% of the time. Remember, specific macros designed for you will work better this is just throwing a dart at a number for you. ✅ Focus on protein intake with your meals and prioritize getting fiber in as well. Remember 80% of your meals should come from whole foods. ✅ Lift weights or strength train at least 3-4 times a week. Building muscle will help you maintain the fat you lose. It will also improve your overall body composition and give you the fit/toned look so many people desire. ✅ Walking is a great way to burn extra calories without increasing your hunger. I encourage between 7000-10000 steps a day because yon can burn an extra 300-400 calories a day with that and not have to be in such a drastic calorie deficit to hit your goals. ✅ Also, make sure you are getting enough sleep and try to avoid alcohol! Uses of saffron extract: Saffron extract has a range of medicinal and other uses. 1. Antispasmodic-As it is antispasmodic it can relieve flatulence. 2. For dry skin- It can be used as an ointment for treating dry skin. 3. Insomnia- It can be used as a medicine to treat insomnia. 4. CNS disorders- It is useful in Alziehmers disease, fright and shock. 5. Infertility- Saffron extract has been found useful in cases of infertility and early ejaculation. 6. Cough- Saffron is used as an expectorant for relieving phlegm, cough and whooping cough. It is also useful in treating asthma patients. 7. Other medicinal uses-Some studies also point out that saffron has anticarcinogic properties and prevents cell mutations as well. The antioxidant properties of saffron are also being explored. Saffron extracts have also been found useful in patients who have depression. 8. Spice- Apart from the above mentioned medicinal uses saffron is also used as a spice. It is used for yellow coloring of the food, as a spice and also as a flavoring agent. 9. Other uses- Saffron extract have also been used in perfumes for fragrance and as dyes for hair coloring. Side effects: Saffron has been found to lower dietary intake. The property can be useful for treating obese patients and for reducing weight. It increases the level of serotonin (a hormone) in brain which inhibits compulsive eating. Other side effects of saffron include dizziness, dry mouth, drowsiness and headache. Large amount of saffron consumption can cause internal bleeding and vomiting and can induce toxicity. Availability: Saffron is widely available in various forms in grocery stores. It can be used as a ready-to-use spice, as a dye etc. Saffron supplements are also available. Many expectorants and other herbal drugs contain saffron. Saffron can be used for its medicinal advantages. It has good satiation value. If you are overweight then by using saffron supplements you will be able to decrease you snacking frequency which will reduce your weight as well.
