A recent study done on mice indicated that intermittent fasting could slow down weight loss and create a resistance to losing weight. The 5:2 fasting pattern (5 days you eat what you want and for 2 days you eat 500 calories) If you go on and off keto, it can cause the body to adapt and protect its fuel source, which is stored as body fat.
