They blame their metabolism… when the data just doesn’t add up. Before I touch a SINGLE macro, here’s what I check: 1️⃣ Adherence You can’t adjust what you aren’t executing. If you’re only on plan 4 days a week, the other 3 are sabotaging your deficit. 2️⃣ Accuracy Are you tracking oils? Condiments? Random bites? Alcohol? Don’t expect results from numbers that aren’t real. 3️⃣ Performance Are you training with real intensity? Dieting doesn’t mean getting that you automatically get weaker. It means being more intentional with your output. And if your cardio has been the same for 6 weeks straight… it’s time to adjust your speed/resistance to keep your body responding. 4️⃣ Biofeedback If your digestion, sleep, and cycle are all off, that’s not a calorie issue. It’s your body signaling stress, and it’s asking for SUPPORT, not another cut in calories. 5️⃣ Stress/Recovery You don’t lose fat well when your system is dysregulated. Chronic stress = higher cortisol = more resistance to fat loss, even if you’re “doing everything right.” Don’t tweak the protocol just because the scale isn’t moving. Dial in the foundation, then reassess. Because results don’t just come from doing MORE. They come from doing the RIGHT things, consistently.
