But studies like STEP-1 and SURMOUNT-1 show that 10-15% of people on these meds don't reach that benchmark. In my clinical practice, I see similar outcomes, and many of you have shared your experiences of not responding to these medications in the comments of my videos. There are several reasons why this happens. I categorize non-responders into three groups: True Non-Responders, Slow Responders, and Quick Fix Seekers.
